TripLog comes preloaded with Business Activities. These can be renamed based on your needs. The associated Tax Categories will affect the Mileage Rates:

Business, Charity, Medical, Personal, Commute, and Uncategorized

There is an option for a Tax Category called Unreimbursable; this will be treated as a Business Activity with no rate associated with it. These can be used for instances where Personal Data is hidden, but there needs to be mileage recorded with no reimbursement or deduction (example: company car mileage)

You can create or modify the preloaded ones to suit your needs. This is the primary way to classify records for different business units or additional activities for filtering or categorizing your reports. The reimbursement calculation for Mileage is based on the Mileage Rate assigned to the Business Activity. You can disable or delete any unused Activities.
