Generate HTML and CSV (Spreadsheet) Reports from the App
To generate mileage reports, open the TripLog app > Reports tab in the bottom left > Email Reports button (blue envelope) > follow the prompts to choose a period for the report and set who you want to send the reports to > email the reports.
You can open the CSV and HTML files in Excel.
Enter the Beginning Mileage on the Reports
TripLog takes the lowest starting odometer of all trips during the report period as the beginning mileage. Therefore, make sure the first row of the Trips table on the reports has the correct beginning mileage. The same applies to the ending mileage. TripLog takes the highest ending odometer of all trips during the report period.
If you find an incorrect beginning odometer, search for that odometer number in the report. You should see the trip, generally in the first rows of the Trips table. Go back to the TripLog app, find the trip, and correct it.
My Vehicle Does Not Show Up on the Reports
You need at least one trip for that vehicle during the report period. You can create a dummy one-mile trip.
Generate HTML and CSV (Spreadsheet) Reports from the Web Dashboard
For Premium, Teams, and Enterprise users, you can also generate reports from the web dashboard.
Log in to your Web Dashboard and go to "Reports." You can export a "Report Summary" as a CSV.
You can also download and customize a detailed report. This will download a zip file with HTML, PDF, and CSV files, which include detailed information, maps, and receipt photos.
Customize Reports Using Templates
In addition to the summary reports on the Reports page, you can customize the detailed reports and download them or email them to yourself.
To customize the reports, log in and click the "Reports" tab. At the bottom of the page is a list of report templates. The default one includes everything. You can open the template and customize the tables and their columns, as well as the column order. You can then download the reports as a zip file or email them.
Scroll down and download a sample report in CSV, HTML, and PDF formats.
Share Report Templates
You can share report templates within your organization so that everyone can run reports using that template, but they will not be able to edit your templates.
