8: Driver Training: Working Hours and Pause AutoStart

Learn how to set your working hours and how to pause or resume AutoStart in the TripLog app.

Working Hours

You can edit your working hours to define how the app will, by default, determine the selected activity for a trip started within the Business Hours Activity Timeframe. If available, you can select the start and end time of your working hours.

Select the Main Menu button (three line icon ≡) > Working Hours

Set the start and end times with the days selected to monitor.

Working Hours: Choose the default for working hours

Outside of Hours: Choose the default for activity outside of hours, including Do Not Track

.

Pause AutoStart

There may be occasions when you need to pause AutoStart, such as on weekends or during vacation. This will prevent AutoStart from activating tracking until you resume AutoStart monitoring.

How to Pause AutoStart

You can manually pause AutoStart in the app by tapping on AutoStart On

After clicking AutoStart in the top right, select the Pause MagicTrip button

Choose the date to resume AutoStart

  • Select Set Resume Date

    • AutoStart will begin monitoring at the start of that day

  • Select Pause Until Manually Resumed

    • The user will need to resume AutoStart manually

Resume AutoStart Tracking

To resume AutoStart tracking before the automatic resume date, or if you paused it manually, click the Paused button in the top right of the Trips page.

Then select the Resume MagicTrip option
